Why gift flowers?

Well... for a start off... flowers are an instant mood booster! The science has proven that flowers release a happy hormone for both, the sender and the recipient and us florists. I cannot tell you, the smile I get when handing over a bouquet of flowers, is infectious. That’s just three people not forgetting anyone else along the way who have instantly been mood boosted!

Flowers are often associated with different meanings, symbols and Asteria Florals, we love to send messages using the blooms selected!

During the Victorian era for example (think Bridgerton where Daphne receives bouquet after bouquet, from potential suitors, each one of those bouquets would have had very specific flowers for very specific meaning.

So, choosing a flower with meaning adds an extra special touch to your Valentine’s gift! That’s where we come in. Our designs this year all include meanings of love, appreciation and happiness!

What colours should you choose for Valentines?
